man, thats terrible.
frank really hasn't had a good year......poor guy.
HODers... Ok this one has nothing to do with drums. But this community being what it is, I know it's cool to post this. On his Message Board Frank Gambale posted that his home got robbed a few days ago. So, just pass this info to all your guitarist friends... Frank really has had a rough year... Just take a look at what he lost!!! Never mind guitars though... According to his Editorial, his mom passed away last month, his dad in April, and he went through a divorce not too long ago.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Guys,
This has not been a good year for me. I'm on the road and last night my house was robbed and some 15 guitars have been stolen.
I want your help to find them...being vigilant on Ebay, or in your local pawn shop, or wherever.
Here's a list of what's gone...
1. Mid 80's Gibson Les Paul Standard, flame top.
2. 2000 Les Paul Catalina ( turquoise colour )
3. 2000 Les Paul Catalina ( blood Red colour )
4. New Gibson SG Supreme (Blue colour )
5. 1968 Gibson L4-CN ( Natural honey coloured top like a 175 model )
6. early 80's Gibson Les Paul 40th Anniversary( Black Beauty with white P-90 pickups
7. Yamaha custom made double neck guitar with two 6 string necks ( one of a kind ) matte olive green colour
8. Double neck Charvel/Jackson. Very rare. Sparlkly Green colour.
9. Mid 80's Takamine Cutaway Classical guitar.
10. New Yamaha AES-FG model ( black )
11. Late 80's Yellow Ibanez FGM-100
12. Mid 80's Gibson Chet Atkins steel string guitar.
13. Black Kramer Strat style guitar with lots of stickers on it.
14. Maton Cut-away acoustic (Australian made with dark exotic woods )
I can't believe they took my new Yamaha double neck...it's one of a kind...the one one used on Raison D'etre and toured with earlier this year...I'm horrified.
Let me know if you see anything that resembles these..
Thanks in advance,
FG

Man, i hope he had insurance.
Having all that happen to me would have taken all the wind out of my sails...
That's horrible. I hope they catch whoever is responsible.
The Reason i never buy a house!
Man that's so sad. But however it's like robbing a gallery. everyone knows the Specific Guitars Stolen, and therefor noone dares to buy them.
He probably gonna end up paying a large ransum for it, but they won't be lost.
But that doesn't really add the positiveness the season he's had this year .
Hope he gonna be allright.
That is just so bloody sad. i can image loosing a snare and how i'd feel, but such an amountthis guy has lost is incredible, bloody sickening.
i feel sick to my stomach......
Sheesh. That's unbelievably awful.
Yeah. It's not like it's not hard enough to be a successful touring & recording musician in this day & age...i said, MUSICIAN...NOT "MTV or VH1 (AWA CMT & BET-type) Poster Child."
One almost HAS to have a bomb/fire-proof vault bolted to the floor, with the Brinks alarm system, electric barbed-wire-topped wall, & pit bulls/dobermans in the yard [next to rhinos & the freakin' moat with the hippos & crocs]. [Did I mention the section with the vulcan landmines?!]
Who(m)ever did this is indeed one HUMONGOUS, smelly T**D. [Duh.] Don't worry - it will come back on them 7-10 fold. Despite what you might think (or see, or not], it always DOES. "Karma" [for those who wish to call it that - i have another Word for it-] will indeed inevitavly "get them." Believe it.
Chances are they knew about FG & his stuff some time b4hand & may have been casing him in advance...check those closest surroundings first. It may also be a so-called "'friend' [of a friend of a friend]"...If another "musician" did this, they should be taken out & shot. Or worse - have their fingers forceably removed. Zero tolerance. Like in the ancient "old countries," which prob had little of this kind of nonsense because of it [OK, i guess we'll have to setlle for jailed...another taxpayers burden...which many of the more hardened criminals could care less if they went (back) there, or for the 1st time, FTM...
We'll keep our eyes & ears open...thoughts out to FG.
